Geocache Description:

Tayetea Bridge crosses the Arthur River on the South Arthur Forest Drive.



The original Tayetea bridge was opened in 1969 and built by the then Forestry Commision. In August 2007 it was washed away by floods and replaced in 2012.

The drive through The Tarkine is memorable and a favourite area of ours. A great area for tourists to enjoy Tasmanias lush and diverse landscape.
