This cache is a good place to start. There is plenty of parking available and if you decide to seek other caches in this series you can continue from here. A large micro or small small so bring a pen along to sign the log.
Fayetteville’s Greatest Hockey Team Series
Coach John Marks: Marks is a two-time champion in the ECHL. Marks' teams are known for being tough, but not necessarily as fighters. The former NHLer was a stellar defensive forward in his playing days (he once shut down Montreal's Guy Lafleur for six games without an even strength goal) and he has built a team with the same shutdown abilities. Fayetteville has one of the deepest teams in the league and their talent can be attributed to Marks'.
This series is to celebrate the team that, during the 2006-2007 season, brought Fayetteville it's first professional sports championship in 51 years. All of these are straight forward hides and should be pretty easy finds. One at a time or all at once, none are dependent on another so just have fun. (Courtesy of “OurSports Central”)
