Paul_the_Hippy: No longer there. Too hard to maintain while living interstate and I have run out of broken cameras.

Welcome to the Cement Creek Rainforest Gallery. The raised boardwalk around the rainforest is in place to attempt to reduce damage to the Myrtle Beech trees.
Any damage makes them susceptible to Myrtle Wilt, a floating fungus that enters wounds on trees. Usually leading to death of the tree within 2 years.
The boardwalk provides basic information on what you see as you walk around. It is very scenic, why not take a picture
This cache is a little prone to being muggled if not covered properly. Finding the cache shouldn’t be a problem, but signing the log to complete the find may take more effort.
GPS coordinates are influenced by the complete canopy cover, should you feel the urge to leave the boardwalk then follow these notes. To find the cache you will need to head along the walk, at the coordinates there is some stairs and a little off shoot, that has an information board about water. At the last stairs the cache is 2 supporting poles from them at the base. On the upper side where the ground is easily reached without leaving the boardwalk. Suggest something to kneel on. Please ensure it is properly covered.
