LV Ineša ezers ir slavens ar savām septiņām salām. Pasaka vēsta, ka senatnē ezeri lidojuši pa gaisu un meklējuši vietu, kur nolaisties. Alauksts un Inesis nolūkojuši abi vienu vietu, un dēļ tās sakāvušies. Alauksts Inesim iesitis septiņas pļaukas, bet pretī no Ineša dabūjis divas. No pļauku sitieniem ezeros radušās salas, Inesī septiņas, bet Alaukstā divas.
EN Lake Inesis is famous with its seven islands. A tale says, long time ago lakes have been sent flying around to search for location where to land. Two lakes - Alauksts and Inesis, both liked one spot, and started a fight for it. Inesis have recieved seven slaps from Alauksts, but Alauksts - only two from Inesis. Both lakes landed nearby, and from the slaps later islands have formed.
