Geocache Description:

In 1987 after Head Wrightson's Teesdale works closed and the site was cleared. Margaret Thatcher visited the area. It became known as her 'Walk in the wilderness'. The cache series name was inspired by a song from the local singer Chris Rea who was brought up down the river in Middlesbrough, and it follows on from our Teesdale Way series. These caches are designed to show the massive improvements that have been made to Stockton-on-Tees since the Head Wrightson's works closed in 1987.
The 4 caches are all magnet nano's containing just a log and pencil. This should help you find them. Please view the Gallery Pictures. Good Luck!!
