Sv. Patrik zaštitnik je Irske, Nigerije, inženjera i ljudi koji se boje zmija. O Patrikovom životu postoje bezbrojne legende. Po predaji, potjerao je sve zmije i ostale otrovne životinje iz Irske. Danas u Irskoj gotovo da nema guštera, zmija, gmazova, čak ni šišmiša. Pokušaji da se u Irskoj nastane te životinje su više puta propali. Umro je 461. godine, kod irskog grada Downa.U Irskoj 17.03. slavi se dan Sv. Patrika. Kada vidite kuticijicu shvatiti ćete zašto se cache zove Patrick.

Saint Patrick was a Romano-British Christian missonary and bishop in Ireland. Known as the "Apostole of Ireland", he is the primarypatron saint of the island along with Saints Brigid and Columba.Saint Patrick`s day is observed on March 17, the date of his death.It is celebrated both inside and outside Ireland, as both a liturgical and non-liturgical holiday
