DO NOT GO FOR THIS CACHE DURING HUNTING SEASON (DEC 1 TO MARCH 31) EXCEPT ON SUNDAY WHEN THER IS NO HUNTING. During non-hunting times this is very popular area for Birders.
Take a nice walk to the beach from the Ted HarveyWildlife area north boat launch.
Its a chance to strech your legs as you walk along the gated dirt road that leads out to the beach. This is a popular area for Birders and people who just want to walk on the beach, so there can be muggles present.
Its less than a 1/4 mile roundtrip walk. You will get to see some nice views of the freshwater marshes as the road goes over the water control gate. Once at the beach you can look for miles without seeing any signs of the modern world. Kitts Hummock beach with its homes is about 2 miles to the north. Bowers Beach and its homes is about 1.5 miles to the south.
Find the remains of beachfront property and you will soon have the cache. Kind of hard to miss GZ since its big and in the middle of an open sandy area.
