Geocache Description:

Cache Queens' Beat The Heat Camp Out has been booked to tide us all over til the 2013  Cache, Crash, & Bash event scheduled for October 4th thru 6th.  This event will be at Catalina State Park again.  This time in the group camp area!

Its only going to get hotter outside and I don't wanna wait to do some outdoor bonding with everyone til October.  WARNING!!  This is not going to be a big production (well I will try to resist)...We just need an excuse to get a bit more camping in and this is the soonest I could pull it off.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Cache Queens Beat The Heat Camp Out Details:                                                                                                                                                                           Location:  "Small" Group Camp Area in Catalina State Park (Oro Valley, Arizona).  Group can arrive as early as 8 a.m. on May 10th and check out is 6 p.m. on May 12th.  Cost: Group area fee is paid, but all campers are responsible for paying $15 per night/per vehicle.  Up to 6 adults per vehicle are permitted at the $15 daily rate at no additional fee.  There are no electric "hook ups" at the group camp area and there is no pavement once you pull into the camp location.  Cachers are still welcome to camp in the area we used previously and come over to enjoy festivities with the group and drive/walk back when you are ready to check out for the night.  We will have indoor restrooms and showers within walking distance.  If you have fire wood to share, please bring it along!  Day visitors pay $7 to get in and can stay til 10 p.m               There is a great RAMADA, close by GRILLS, and a FIRE PIT for us to enjoy!   All cacher/campers are asked to pitch in with firewood, BYOB and BYOF...  Dinner is on Saturday, May 11th at 6 p.m.  This will be a potluck and event log will be present at this get together.  More games and announcements TBA.
