Geocache Description:

The streets leading to the temple are narrow, so drive slowly and alertly. There are some parking spots at the temple area. Good luck!

The meaning of the kanji characters for "houzoji" is basically "temple of a treasure." Thus, it was an irresistible place to hide a new treasure (cache).

The temple is also the burial place of the great Japanese mathematician Gigi Saito (1816-1889). His writings were about high level calculus and he posed mathematical problems related to designs of shrines and temples.

The cache is in a small plastic container. Bring your own pen! (Make sure to hide the cache exactly the same way you found it!)
