Join the 2013 UK Mega Committee for a geocaching meet with a difference! The Guide Dogs National Breeding Centre are hosting two 2 hour tours of the centre FREE OF CHARGE for us. Each tour can take a maximum of 50 people so you MUST tell us how many places you want when logging your 'Will Attend' and whether you want a morning or afternoon slot. The morning tour will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm and the afternoon one from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

Unfortunately due to health regulations at the breeding centre no pets are allowed on site unless they are assistance dogs and for obvious reasons you can't leave them in your car either.

The centre has reserved all 100 places for us in advance, so please DO NOT book directly with them. We will allocate people on a first come first served basis (see tables below) according to your 'Will Attend' logs. If we get to the stage where both tours are fully booked it doesn't mean that you can't join us at the pub for drinks and geochat and still claim a smiley for the event!

All places on the tours have now been taken. You can however still claim a smiley for this event by visiting the pub in between the tours. Thanks to everyone for taking so much interest in this unique event.

For those of you that haven't managed to book on one of the tours, don't worry! You can organise your own visit on a different day as follows:

Tuesday from 2.00pm to 4.00pm
Fridays from 10.30am to 12.30pm

Obviously these are not on the day of our tours though as they are now fully booked! Book via email NBCvisitors@guidedogs.org.uk or phone 0845 3727 432. Please mention the UK Mega 2013 when you book.

The cat part of our meet is in the form of 'The Leopard Pub'. Everyone can gather here at lunchtime either before or after their tour around the dog breeding centre. They do a wide variety of food including bar meals and a set menu (£11 for 2 courses). For further information and to book please see here.
