Geocache Description:

A nice stop on an urban walk through Lower Allston. There is some street parking around the area. The cache is small, but has a couple of tiny trinkets. BYOP! Also: if there is any snow on the ground, you will not be able to find the cache!

Nathan, my grade-schooler geocaching buddy's dad is allergic to furry things, so when Nathan wanted a pet, we got him a cactus named Frank. Sadly, Frank got a major bug infestation and needed to be euthanized lest he infect all the other plants in the house. We buried him in the side yard and hid a geocache *near* his grave to mark it (it's not ON the grave, because Nathan was afraid people would mess it up). Don't worry about the close proximity of the house or apartment bldg... this is Allston... the day people *don't* see strangers poking around is an unusual day! If it's nice enough, Nathan himself may see you and show you where the cache is (whether you like it or not LOL)! Also... Frank's gravesite changes with the seasons. We haven't been able to find a good cactus grave marker that will survive snow, rain, sun, raccoons, rats, etc... looking at the pictures may not be helpful.
