Geocache Description:

Small traditional cache located next to Broomhead Reservoir in the Ewden Valley north of Sheffield. Please bring a pen/pencil to sign the logbook as the cache container does not hold one.

We placed this cache on a freezing cold Mother's day 2013. Known as the 'top dam' Broomhead Reservoir is in the Ewden Valley to the north of Sheffield. It is popular with walkers, cyclists & bird spotters. The cache is easily reached by good tracks. It can be grabbed on its own or linked with our other cache - More Hall. You are looking for a small plastic tub, the original contents being - a marble, Hello Kitty pencil topper, mini quad bike toy & a badge. I've just replaced the log, it's now inside a plastic bag so hopefully it should keep nice & dry; though please make sure that the lid is screwed back on tightly. Container & log replaced 13/3. Please bring your own pen or pencil
