We've had an eye on this spot to place a cache To Honor Those Who Served.  We also wanted this cache to commemorate  special occasion.  And now we have that special occasion to celebrate!

CONGRATULATIONS!! to RicknJoy on the occasion of their 5000th cache find! 


5000 is a lot of cache finds!  And it's a lot of driving...and a lot of hiking...and a lot of determination...and a lot of hard work...and a lot of adventure...and a lot of good stories...and a whole lot of fun!!!!! 

Today, we salute RicknJoy by placing a cache honoring those who served, near the site of the Veterans' Memorial, in honor of RicknJoy as we celebrate their latest accomplishment - 5000 finds!   

5000 finds is not their only accomplishment.  They have also recently completed the requirements for the Well Rounded Cacher challenge - a challenge that pushes a cacher to his or her limits, physically, mentally and geographically.  Not a challenge for the casual cacher or the faint of heart, completing these stringent requirements shows a dedication to our beloved sport above and beyond the norm!  Matter of fact, the Well Rounded Cacher Challenge (also known as the Fizzy Challenge) was cache #5000 for this awesome caching couple!
