Geocache Description:

Small Silver Bison tube. CACHE CAN BE FOUND WITHIN ARMS REACH OF PATH. This Cache can be found off Ness road via Felsham Chase. If driving, you would be best to park in Felsham Chase.

Small Silver Bison tube. CACHE CAN BE FOUND WITHIN ARMS REACH OF PATH. The Cache is located in the Woodland Walk which runs from Burgley Rise to Kentwell Place.

From the Cache, facing South West, you can see the Old Thatched Tower Mill at Melton Farm.

Originally a tower mill built around the early 1800's , later used to mill Coprolite, which is fossilized faeces! Dinosaur Dung! The mill is now used as a store.

The Mill is a tower mill with ten tapering sides reduced to three storeys with a thatched pyramidal roof. The walls are made from clunch, which is a traditional building material used mainly in Eastern England and Normandy. This is then lined with brick. The original floor frames at two levels are still intact.

This mill Can be best viewed from the Newmarket Road.
