Geocache Description:

As you will notice, the cache location is red mud! (yes it will stain your clothes)
I am unsure when they began mining the Redding pits for the red ochre, however they continued production until well after world war 2.
The Redding pits now belong to a private farmer, There may be a public footpath? further towards regil there is a byway which also it part of the redding pits,
the cache location is on the perimeter of the pits

A small cache, tiniest log book (ever!) bring your own pen and do your smallest writting....
