Geocache Description:

Medusa was the greek mythical creature that could turn creatures to stone if she caught her gaze. She had angered Athena by accusing her of being jealous of her beauty. Athena was so angered by this she punished Medusa by turning her hair into snakes and cursing her by making her so ugly that who ever looks at her eyes would turn into stone.
