Geocache Description:

About an 8 inch lock and lock

Haleakala National Park (House of the Sun) is in Hawaii. Haleakala is known for its immense volcanic mountaintop crater that is just over 10,000 feet in elevation and is one of the world's largest dormant volcanos. The crater basin is 3,000 feet deep, 7.5 miles east to west, 2.5 miles north to south with a circumference of 21 miles.

We love going to national parks so we thought naming caches after them would be a great tribute and hopefully inspire some people to visit them.
