While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

Denne cachen er lokalisert ved Devold fabrikken(ca. 150m sør for cachen) i Langevåg. Devolds historie går helt tilbake til 1853 og ble startet av Ole Andreas Devold. Devold fabrikken er en stor del av Langevåg, og på mange måter selveste grunnen til at Langevåg er som det er i dag. Etter mer enn 155 år produserer Devold fortsatt ullplagg den dag i dag. På fabrikken i dag finner du også en rekke outlet butikker fra merkene; Moods Of Norway, Bergans, Norrøna og selvfølgelig Devold. Her finnes også et museum av fabrikkens historie her for de som skulle vær interessert i det og en kafe. Ved siden av kafeen ligger D/S Thorolf som i dag er det eldste dampskipet av tre i hele skandinavia. Dette skipet ble brukt til å frakte selgere, råmatriale, prøveprodukt og ferdige produkter langs kysten av Norge.

Cachen er en liten plastboks, pass opp for mugglere!!

This cache is located by the Devold factory(about 150m south of thie cache) in Langevåg. Devold’s history dates all the way back to 1853 and was founded by Ole Andreas Devold. This factory is a big part of Langevåg and in many ways the main reason Langevåg is what it is today. Today, more than 155 years later, Devold of Norway still produces wool garments. At the factory today you can allso find outlet stores form other famous norwegian brands such as; Moods of Norway, Bergans, Norrøna and ofcourse Devold of Norway. There is allso a museum of the factorys history located here and allso a cafe. Beside the cafe at the quay lies S/S Thorolf. This is the oldest of three steamships in all of Scandinavia. This ship was used to transport salesmen, rawmaterials, test products and finished products along the coast of Norway.

The cache is a small plastic container, watch out for muggles!!
