Geocache Description:

Well, in this case the intersection isn’t exactly round, it’s shaped more like a peanut but the function is the same. The cache is located on the side of a very popular walking path in a very popular public park.

The difficulty here is Muggles! Timing is everything and there will be times when the density of the Muggles will make this cache extremely difficult to grab and sign. Please wait until you can have a reasonable expectation of being undetected! Please place the cache back in its hiding spot with care! This would be a great night cache for those so inclined.

Everything old is new again.  When the ole Squirrel was a Kit there were quite a few “traffic circles” in operation around the country.  They were mainly used at the intersections of major highways.  Traffic circles fell out of favor with highway engineers during the late 60’s and 70’s.  They are now making a re-appearance under their European name of “Roundabouts” and are being installed as traffic calming devises.  I like the fun of going around in a constant “left turn” and turning out in a new direction!
