"Fuzzy wanted an 'Easy' Won" is a micro sized traditional cache hidden along an unmarked trail that I found while out snowshoeing alongside the Anchorage Coastal Trail south of Point Woronzof Park.
There are several trails between the Coastal Trail and the Airport in this area and they make for some great wintertime fun whether you are snowshoeing or skiing. This is only one of them. I placed several caches along this one for your enjoyment!
I like to snowshoe out along one of the unmarked trails and then make a loop and come back along the Coastal Trail. The Coastal trail is multi use so feel free to walk, bike, snowshoe or ski on it...
Parking can be found at Point Woronzof Park or a bit closer at the parking area near the Anchorage Wastewater Treatment facility.
Curiosity may take you through the gate and down the road to the Clitheroe Center. The airport police reserve the right to restrict access to this area. If you do go through the gate, stay at least 4 feet away from the fence on the airport side of the road...unless you would like to meet the airport police!
The area is accessible during warmer months but the Alaskan Air Force may take you out while you are looking for the cache!!!
Fuzzy asked for it and here it is...an easy one...there might even be another nearby!!!
I hope you enjoy finding this cache as much as I did while I was hiding it and exploring the area!
