Geocache Description:

This year, the WWFM souvenir will be awarded as soon as anyone logs an "attended" log on any event listed on the official bookmark list. There is no requirement that the logging must be done within a certain number of days. This will make it much easier on everyone!



This year, since the World Wide Flash Mob is on May the 4th, it would be sacrilegious not to have a Star Wars theme for the event... So, we decided that a Lightsaber fight would be cool. If you really want to completely immerse yourself in the moment, feel free to dress up as a Star Wars character too! There's never too many Wookies. You can find cheap plastic Lightsabers toys at different retailers. Of course, you can also get a laser gun, or simply use your Jedi powers! We will meet on 12th Ave, downtown, across Victoria Park. Hopefully, the snow will be gone by then, and there won't be too much traffic (if the street is still open).

 *~*Schedule of activities*~*

Use the clock on your GPSr to time your attendance and activities at the event.


-Before 11:00am: Hover nearby but do not approach GZ.
-At 10:59am: We will place the Log Book and container down.
-Between 11:00am and 11:10am: Approach GZ and sign the log book. Put your Geocaching name in the container to enter a draw. Then, Lightsaber fight!
-11:12am: Group Photo
-11:15am: Leave the area promptly. We will gather at another location to mingle, exchange stories, and swap TB info.
If any muggles are curious about the event we will have volunteers handing out fliers that explain geocaching. ( example fliers )

We hope to gather a "good showing" of cachers at this event. Tell your friends and help promote the event. Bring them along, they do not have to be geocachers to enjoy the Flash Mob.

(This is an outdoor event – please dress accordingly. Event happens rain or shine)
