Blacklegend is based in Tocumwal, NSW, just over the NSW border from Victoria. He has been caching since April 2009, with his first cache find being the now archived Patriotic Cache in Barooga, NSW. He was introduced to Geocaching by Quasar3671 and since his first cache find he has never looked back.
Blacklegend has 8 children, and caches regularly with several of them locally. His two older, teenage daughters having their own geocaching.com accounts.
Blacklegend is a member of the famous caching alliance known as The Demolition Crew or TDC for short. The TDC are a team of cachers, primarily based in the Melbourne area and specialize in there now famous Monday night caching runs, puzzle solving and high difficulty / terrain caches. TDC team members include TrailRunning, Quasar3671 and of course, the very well known, Rebel Acts.
Blacklegend has introduced several new cachers to the sport including his daughters Bomb.Shell and Sportacuss as well as their respective boyfriends, Mr.David and Poynts95.
Having amassed over 10,000 finds and hidden around 150 caches in the 5 years he has been caching Blacklegend finds himself in the envious position, well into the Top 50 Cachers in Australia, and top in his home state of Queensland, for finds. He has also complete the full set of 81 D/T combinations.
Blacklegend recently moved to the Gold Coast, in Queensland, where the untouched caching territory is now being conquered. Blacklegend hopes in the years to come, to be a “Top 10” cacher in Australia.
Blacklegend enjoys Geocaching on a number of levels, including for the great company and caching with good friends in The Demolition Crew, exercising, the challenge of the find, and enjoying time with the younger members of his family and local cachers who he often caches with and mentions in his logs.

"I'm a very attractive man (insert borat accent here), and while I'm a little on the chubby side at the moment, it does not take away from my rugged “Indiana Jones” good looks. Don’t be confused by the grey hair, I get the name “Blacklegend” for a reason...
I'm freakish finder of difficult hides, it’s almost as if I have a 6th sense. Don’t laugh, I once pulled a nano from a frogs ass, 24m from GZ, and the frog was moving.... "
