Geocache Description:

A nano cache at Istanbul's tallest building.

Istanbul Sapphire is Turkey's tallest building. And it's fairly new. It opened on March 4, 2011. It is 856 feet tall (261 meters). It doesn't rank among the world's tallest, but it deserves a little recognition, and a cache, for being the tallest here. Inside is a large shopping mall, with some very nice (and some normal) restaurants, as well as some luxury apartments.  You can also go to the top and take the Istanbul 360° tour. photo 0314_0036_7_8_tonemapped02_zpse0cc51be.jpg Oh, and it resembles a giant ski jump, which is kind of cool.  As you enjoy the view of the building from the cache spot, watch out for muggles, and try not to block the pedestrian walkway. The mall can be reached directly from the 4. Levent metro stop from Taksim.  Happy hunting!
