A River Tyne Walk from Haddington to East Linton.
A new path has been opened up along the north bank of the River Tyne. It runs from Hailes through to Abbeymill.
At the Hailes end it connects with the path to East Linton and at the other end you can continue along the river to Haddington.
This now means that you can walk along the Tyne from Haddington along paths right down to the bridge on the North Berwick/ Dunbar road.
A good way of walking the route from Haddington to East Linton, or vice versa, would be walk the path getting the bus to the start or from the finish.
At present it is quite muddy, but once compacted and/or with drier weather it should greatly improve.
this spot passes the old ABBEYMILL theres still the mill unlike accross the water used to be the OLD SLAUGHTER HOUSE nothing remains now just the big wall which is now the border of the field.
