This takes place at 7:10AM... sharp!
Stoned in a Flash!! (Where else can you be stoned in a flash in your pajamas?)
That’s right!!! For those who know of the Stoned series… we are doing our second annual flash mob!! That’s right!! Instead of going all over the Chautauqua Lake area to get stoned… you can do it in one location really fast... AGAIN!!
A geocaching flash mob is a VERY quick event cache, in fact, only 15 minutes long! The idea is to suddenly gather, conduct a quick meet, and sometimes a photo, then disperse as quickly as you gathered. It is important to not arrive at the GZ early! Walk around like a muggle, or wait in your geo-mobile until the time arrives.
To help with keeping it quick, the sign in process for the event will be as follows… Bring a 3x5 note card signed with your caching name WITH YOU to the event and there will be a box at the GZ to drop them off. This will be your “found it” log for the event. We will have extra cards and pens available for those that did not bring one.
NOW for the down and dirty of the details for our event…
Since we are up so early, everyone can take their time in getting ready for caching and we can have a pajama party!! This will look GREAT in the group photo we will have!
We will be using an air horn to indicate the start of the event. Assembly will be at 7:10 at the GZ. A group photo of some crazy sleepware, some chit chat, and before we know it, the air horn will blow again to indicate the end of the event. At that time, all cachers need to leave the GZ!
Quick, fun, and easy…. That’s how these Stones roll……
