Geocache Description:

Enjoy a relaxing walk along a section of the Speed River that runs between the old Kortright Waterfowl Park and Guelph Bird Sanctuary. This is a trail I've walked on for a few hours at a time and not run into another person at all. Great for walking the dogs or strolling with a camera hoping to catch some deer drinking from the river.

This is a micro cache, with room only for a tiny log. You will need to bring your own pen and possibly tweezers to remove the log. When returning the log, please roll tightly and fit inside the cache lid before closing to prevent water from getting inside. From the Niska Road Parking (park on the roadside, not the snowplow lot, to avoid a ticket!) follow the blue blazed trail until across from the cache. At this point you'll have to leave the trail and zigzag your way through the trees. The cache is located at the edge of the forest and field.
