Geocache Description:

The road this cache has been placed, has over the years been known for it's massive African mahogany's.

Planted for the first time around Darwin in the late 1950s and showed potential as a plantation species. The mahogany is now a declared weed in the NT, where it had been blamed for at least one death.

In the past few years since this young boys death some of the trees along this stretch of road have been removed due to health and safety concerns.

This is a drive by cache, you will be able to park within a couple of metres.
The terrain is flat and will not cause you any problems.
Pen and tweezers are required.
Plenty of shade and well camouflaged.
