Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

Geocache Description:

Use the opportunity to drive around the track and experience the adrenaline rush racers felt years ago when they were competing for the championship title.  

Roy Hesketh Circuit, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa

Length: 1.803 Miles  //  2.902 km
Used: December 1953 to November 1981
This circuit, located on the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg in Natal was named after South African driver Roy Hesketh. During its period of operation it hosted rounds of the South African Drivers Championship, the Springbok sportscar series and national Formula Atlantic races. The circuit was also like a second home to Mike Hailwood. The track was famous for hosting the Easter races as well festival of racing over three days.
