Olaf Itoff: This one is not surviving. Also, the teacher who was leading the students into geocaching moved to another school, so there is no kid-centered walking GC activity in the area. Archiving these as they come up missing. Thanks to all who found and enjoyed this cache.

Geocache Description:

Part of the Manzy Kids Mall Walk, this one is across from the post office and down the street from the Y. To add to the challenge, there is no hint. Note there is also no parking on this road.

Each semester, teachers at the nearby charter middle school offer different 'Academies' to students. This spring, a teacher added a Geocaching Academy to the list. Other academies include cooking, chess, CSI, bicycling, martial arts, swimming at the nearby YMCA, woodshop, event planning, and bowling in Pinole. These classes meet once a week for two hours to expand horizons of the students.

To help with the new academy and help the kids "Get Out There", I'm placing some caches between the school and the mall, leaving a few spots in the park for the kids to place caches once they get a feel for the different types of cache and associated skills and stewardship.
