Patriot's Watch Traditional Cache

This scenic park was provided by the kind developers who also built the nearby McMansions.  Though I doubt not that this magnificent view of the Hudson River has been enjoyed for both business and pleasure throughout history, I still wonder a little about the story on the plaque here.  But whether or not some of the facts are slightly fabricated, this is nonetheless a wonderful spot to visit!  I can easily imagine the Patriot, as well as villagers and pre-colonial inhabitants of this area, looking out over the river from this vantage point and spying great wooden ships on the water with their crews trimming sail.  It must have been amazing. The view is still pretty awesome today!
