An easy cache a short distance off the R532.
Cross the little bridge, and you'll be able to park within 30m of the cache.
This is the Treur river. "Treur" means mourn - so the name of this river indicates sadness and probably death, but that was a long time ago, back in the gold rush days.

Feel free to explore the immediate area with it's crystal clear waters and small waterfalls, but don't wander too far or you'll find yourself on private property. If you can brave the very cold water, you're welcome to have a dip here too.
If you continue with the track past the bridge for a few hundred metres, you'll find a most unusual viewpoint and restaurant alongside the river - enjoy!!
The cache is a small camo lock 'n lock hidden within a metre of the old defunkt trig beacon. It's big enough to hold geocoins and smaller travel bugs.
