This super-sized geocache is located on the Rocky Barrens Conservation area. It is placed under MDC permit 13-01 with permission of Area Manager Kevin Hedgpeth. It will be necessary to hike in from the parking coords. You will hike mainly on trails but they are not flip-flop trails. Expect ticks, chiggers, thorns since you are on a conservation area. Conservation areas are closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
I called this one Cardiac because when we were hiking out after placing it, I noticed how much my heart rate had gone up. The difficulty and terrain listed indicate the up and down terrain that you will experience. Remember that you can get pretty close by staying on trails, If you choose to bushwhack in, you can make the difficulty much higher. Congrats to the Semipaw crew for the ftf capture and thanks for posting a picture of the enthusiastic crew!
