This super-sized geocache is located on the Rocky Barrens Conservation area. It is placed under MDC permit 13-01 with permission of Area Manager Kevin Hedgpeth. It will be necessary to hike in from the parking coords. You will hike mainly on trails but they are not flip-flop trails. Expect ticks, chiggers, thorns since you are on a conservation area. Conservation areas are closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
By the time you have hiked all the way to this cache, you will be ready to relax by a quiet stream. This is the place to do it - probably the prettiest place on the otherwise rather desolate Rocky Barrens area. You can follow the rock or mowed trails to get to this one and then there will be 50 feet or so of bushwhacking. But take time to congratulate yourself for you accomplishment but taking a rest and just listen.
