A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away......
Jedi vs Sith - Light vs Dark
BYOL - Bring Your Own Lightsaber for the Epic Battle

A flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment.

PRE-EVENT DETAILS:
1. Prepare your light saber. If you choose your allegiance to the Jedi you shall bring a green or blue or purple lightsaber. If you so choose the Dark side then bring a red or yellow lightsaber.
2. Get your Star Wars costume ready. If you like, you may mention in your Will Attend who you will be or which allegiance you choose. I am a Jedi Master and Mr. Raiders is from the Dark Side.
3. Bring your own log sheet (3x5 index card or just a piece of paper) signed with your caching name and the number on your team who are at event. This will allow me to easily count number of attendees and we won't waste any time signing a log.
4. Plan your arrival time accordingly to allow for finding a parking spot and stargazing if you want. If you want to gaze upon the planet of Coruscant, home of the Jedi Council, or search to see if the Empire is building a Death Star, the hours of the planetarium are 10am-5pm. There is a fee.
5. Park in off street parking along College Ave or Buchanan Ave.
6. Muggle around in the park or wait in your car but DO NOT ARRIVE AT GZ UNTIL 4PM.
7. Yoda will arrive at GZ 1 minute before 4pm and begin playing the Star Wars theme music. This is your cue to begin to make your way to GZ with your light saber ready. Let's try to come from all directions, through the park, down the sidewalks, inside the planetarium.

EVENT DETAILS:
4:00pm Meet YODA at GZ arriving to the Star Wars Theme

  • "Sign in" by dropping your log in the can
  • Epic Battle begins - Good vs Evil, Light vs Dark, Jedi vs Sith - Spread out on the sidewalk and battle with your lightsabers
  • Prizes Awarded for Best Costumes
  • Group Photo Taken
4:15pm Go and May the Fourth Be With You
