Geocache Description:

Read the historical marker and find a park and grab cache. This area was once known for its sugar plantations. Thus the name "Cane-y" (I reckon). I lived about two miles from here when I first moved to Matagorda County.

The cache is a camouflaged 5mL tube near the historical marker. Beware of the thorns. They got me good when I placed the cache.
