Park in the second parking area, about 800m from the Wilmot Bridge. ( S41° 16.566 E146° 13.341 )
The track is about 20m south of the car park, western side of the road. Look for the tyres !
Follow this link for a Street View
After jumping the fence, decend to the Wilmot River (11 zig zags!)
Proceed south to the co-ordinates.
Cross the river (if low enough) at Shoestring Crossing
Please Note:
- Take care - the track is slipery, narrow and rocky in parts. Children require close supervision.
- There is no Telstra phone reception (well not for me ...) So if you are using a smart phone, store the cache offline
- Expect to take 1 1/2 hours to the cache.
- There is a lovely little table in the open area known as "The Valley" a little further on.
