Geocache Description:

I placed this cache here so you could park at the Hisorical marker and read about this interesting little town. It is amazing to imagine our ancestors walking and marching across this land to set us free and settle this land.

Alleyton used to be a thriving little town in the 1800's. A major hub in the transportation of goods from the northern states to the port in Mexico. The cache is near the historical marker that details the life of this little town and its importance in our history. The cache is velcro so please replace it in the exact same spot. BYOP.
