The most easterly point in the UK is located at Ness Point in the town of Lowestoft. The most easterly point is marked by the Euroscope and Ness Point is also the site for the Orbis Energy Centre, a renewable energy development centre and a wind turbine, nicknamed Gulliver; which generates energy for the National Grid
