Geocache Description:

ROADRUNNERS #1 was placed with the permission of Andrew Avenue Elementary School administration and will not be available during school hours. Please search for this cache Mon-Fri after 3:30 or anytime on weekends and holidays. Thank you for your cooperation!

We are so excited that you are considering hunting for our cache. ROADRUNNERS #1 was started as a whole school project in our library at Andrew Avenue Elementary, home of Rocket the roadrunner. Our K-4 students will check the cache regularly to see who signed our log and what items have been exchanged. We have also placed a travel bug in this cache and will track it to learn geography and fun facts related to it's travels. We ask that when signing in or leaving treasure, remember that young children will be checking the cache so please keep it clean. This is an easy find that should be fun for people of all ages and physical abilities. There is good parking and limited traffic even though the cache is not far from the street. Great choice for beginners or children. This cache is just a short walk from the parking lot located directly across from the school. *WARNING* If you have little ones, they may not be able to resist spending some time on the playground. The container is about the size of an Ovaltine container (OK, maybe it's exactly the same size as an Ovaltine container and it probably smells like one too.) Because of it's size it does contain quite a bit of treasure (YAY!) Please take care to make sure you hide it exactly as you found it. There is quite a bit of foot traffic through this area and it could easily disappear. Have fun! We can't wait to see your check-in!!
