Geocache Description:

The Brightest and Lightest

Cache

Done in the Nightest

This night cache begins just past the trestle that intersects County Road 492.  This is not quite 1 block east of Highway 69.  You will see reflectors in the shape of a triangle guiding your way.

This is a Night Cache!
It is designed to be found at night. The coordinates listed are the starting point of the trail to the cache. It requires the use of a flashlight to see the markers on the trail and at the actual cache site.

The final location is marked with a triangle pointing down.

The actual cache is a very unusual and large container. It will contain swag items related to light and glowing ( glow sticks, glow in dark bugs, etc..) with a push on light attached to the inside of the lid. First 10 cachers to find will enjoy obtaining a coveted, actual used, railroad spike for their entertainment pleasure! In addition, there will be a Chinese money bill as a reward for First to Find, if you choose to take it!

The total distance (there and back) is < 1/2 mile.  Should you desire to find all the other caches on the GHOST RAILROAD your walk (there and back) will be exactly 1 mile in total.  Should you choose to do this at night the cache locations will be marked with a single reflector.

This cache is on a flat straight grade with only minor impediments.  You will have a 15 foot change in elevation to get to the cache.  This cache is particularly suitable for children due to the amount of ambient light in the area.
