Geocache Description:

Eastbound only. Nice parking area, more convenient when the pit toilet is unlocked.

I've been wanting to place a cache here for awhile, and today was a great excuse. I thought I would stop to use the pit toilet that replaced the old rest area that occupied this spot a long time ago; also, there is very little traffic here, and it is not a bad spot to let the dogs out off-leash (watch out for the little land mines, if you know what I mean--I wasn't the first person to think of this). The last time through here, I noticed the door had been sprung badly by vandals or the wind; today, it was locked. Foiled!  But not for long--I found enough cover to meet both my and my dogs needs. After leaving our deposit, we then left another deposit--a cache for the weary traveler in need of a break. You are looking for a bison tube, hidden well off the usual path, but still within the right of way of the old rest area. There is another micro in the westbound lane for your return trip--please don't try to cross 4 lanes of interstate traffic to get it.

MtFireFlyer, let the kids sleep in and get this one for yourself!
