This cache is number 5 in the series .We have placed this cache here as our Great Grandparents lived on the block of land which now stands vacant in front of you .
Our Nana told us of the days when she was a young girl and would get up at 4 in the morning to wake her father so that he could load salt on wagons from the salt lake that you can see in the background here .
The wagons would be loaded and then taken into Coobowie and loaded onto ships that would be along side the jetty waiting .
Sadly today there is no sign of the old stone cottage that once stood here.
