Geocache Description:

By the bank of a small stream a Witch planted an seed and into it she trapped the essence of a lonly traveller that came to her seeking shelter from a storm. That seed grew into a mighty and horribly deformed willow tree and the area became bereft of all life

The tree still stands today and keeps watch over the swamp. Find the tree and and if you listen carefully you can hear the old Witch laughing!

There are several ways of getting to the footpath that leads you to the tree. However you get there you are looking for a makeshift bridge (see picture) across a stream and where the footpath forks off take the one that is least traveled.

In winter and spring this will be quite swampy but ok if you are wearing wellys. follow the course of the stream and look for the biggest and ugliest looking willow tree you can find. in a niche in the tree you will find a (at time of caching) fully loaded lock and lock.

There is lots of stuff in it just be sure to put back something as cool as you take.
