Geocache Description:

Shine On You Crazy Diamonds (Pt I)

A Night Cache

You will need a high powered flashlight or headlamp to locate this cache.  

Attempting to do this cache without would be...foolish.


This cache is intended to be done at night.  While it might be possible to do during the daylight hours, it is designed to be completed during darkness.

To find this cache, you need to follow a trail of small bright white "diamonds", which will take you on a journey through this section of the Scugog Island Crown Land.

Go to the posted coordinates and shine your flashlight at approximately 252o true(west).  Doing this will reveal the beginning of the trail you need to follow.  Following this trail will reveal where the cache is hidden. 

If you do not immediately see the next diamond, continue in the direction you are travelling and the next one should be revealed to you quickly. You may also need to adjust your angle of incidence to locate the next diamond.

As you follow the trail of diamonds you need to know that rubies are not diamonds, they are completely different, they're more like red coloured aluminum. Just remember that you are looking for diamonds!

The final will reveal itself as a cluster of diamonds as you approach.
