Geocache Description:

This cache is a part of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County's 100th Anniversary Geocaching Challenge. This program celebrates our 100th anniversary in 2015.

This years installment of the Geocache Passport celebrates the forest preserves which were purchased between 1940 and 1965 . Collect 5 stickers from 8 participating caches hidden throughout DuPage County for a collectable Geocoin. Passports are available in the cache. The first piece of property for this Forest Preserve was purchased in 1956. Today, this preserve is a native wildlife rehabilitation facility that provides care and medical treatment for injured and orphaned wild animals. As an education center, it serves as a resource for county residents who wish to learn how to live in harmony with local wildlife.

The cache you are looking for is a clear container. Please note that this preserve has special hours. The cache is only accessible while the preserve is open between the hours 9am - 5pm. Do not cross any fences to access this cache.
