Geocache Description:

This is one of 6 caches being placed in conjunction with the Nature Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival. This one is to honor the Kestrel!

We hope you'll take the time to explore the Chinsegut Wildlife and Environmental Area. There are other caches here, but also loads of wildlife, including birds. The Kestrel is out smallest falcon, oftens seen hovering over the open areas in search of live food. A beautiful bird, the Kestrel needs our help to insure it remains a part of our FL landscape.

This cache is only available during daylight hours and please do follow the posted regulation. Be aware of the wild about you, carry water and wear bug repellant. Be sure to enjoy the journey, not just the smiley at the end.

FOR the first six geocachers (1 per family) completeing all 6 caches and bringing proof ( a biird calling card from each cache) to the Chinsegut Nature Center 23212 Lake Lindsey Rd, 34601 you will receive a bag of goodies  such as coupons, wildlife brochures, and a trackable of your own. Call 754-6722 to be sure the office is open.
This is a permitted cache through FWC #GEO 48513. It is an ammo can that hopefully withstand an occasional critter or prescribed burn. !!! CONGRATS to kpcrystal07 for FTF !!!
