When walking around the fields on this part of Wiltshire, I began to notice an abundance of gates in different situations. The caches in this series are hidden on or near different gates.
Number 4 in the series
A series of 9 caches of varying sizes on this circular walk over approx 2.5 miles of byways, bridleways and public footpaths.
As with the nature of the weather in the UK parts of the walk can be muddy at most times of the year!
This series is based on gates - and features a relatively simple circular walk around the Paxcroft area just outside of Hilperton.
The idea of this series (which is a first for me) is to allow me to share one of the routes that I will on occasion take my own dog for a walk. I have on a number of occasions seen deer along the quieter bridleways.
Care should be taken when needing to cross the busy A361 - which will be required on a couple of occasions.
This cache is a 50ml camo tube micro. After finding this cache, continue along the byway, before turning right at the point of the public bridleway.
