Hello, my name is glorieme, and I'm a cachaholic.
Step Twelve: Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, I will try to carry the message to cachaholics everywhere, and to practice these principles in all my caching adventures.
The joy of living is the theme of the Twelfth Step, and action brings us to this joy. For having completed all other steps, we now turn outward toward our fellow cachaholics who are still in distress. In this mental state we experience the kind of giving that asks no rewards. Our Twelfth Step says that as a result of practicing all the Steps, we have each found something like a spiritual awakening. During this awakening we find ourselves - in all our faults - the wonderful people we are. Still more wonderful is the feeling that we do not have to be specially distinguished among our fellows in order to be useful and profoundly happy. Not many of us can be leaders of prominence, nor do we wish to be. Service gladly rendered, obligations squarely met, troubles well accepted or solved - brings us to the knowledge that at home or in the world we are partners in a common effort. We are proof that love freely given surely brings a full return, and we have the certainty that we are no longer alone but belong in the grander scheme of things - and have joy in right living each and every day right at our fingertips.
