This is meant to be an easy hide. You are looking for a magnetic film cannister at the end of a guard rail. Bring a writing instrument. I selected a location that provides plenty of room to pull safely off the road. US-79 is technically a north-south highway. This cache is on the northbound side.
Consider this a payback for a couple of area cachers that helped me quite a bit. Each cache in the series will highlight a famous University of Illinois alum.
Although I usually hate them, brief logs are okay. However, if you find several in the series, I would appreciate one longer log that describes your experience.
Robert L. Johnson was born in Mississippi, but grew up in Freeport, Illinois. He came from a large family, being the 9th of 10 children born to Archie and Edna Johnson. He attended the University of Illinois and graduated with B.A. degree in History, then went to get a master's degree at Princeton. Together with his wife, Sheila, he founded Black Entertainment Television, the first ethnically-aimed network, in 1980. It became the first black-controlled company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Johnson was the richest black person in the United States until Oprah Winfrey surpassed him.
