The Nar Valley Way

Experience the historical and picturesque views of this section of the Nar Valley Way between Castle Acre and West Acre The Nar Valley Way is a walking route from Gressenhall to King's Lynn.

This series is placed on a section is between Castle Acre and West Acre, both of which are steeped in history. The trail begins in Castle Acre. If you are interested in history then visit the remains of the Castle and the Priory nearby.

This cache is located in Castle Acre Common, with the scenic views of the River Nar nearby. Both the Common and the River Nar are Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs)

There are also a number of amenities in Castle Acre such as parking, newsagents and pubs.

Cache Information

This cache is part of the Nar Valley Way Geocaching Series placed by the Norfolk Trails. This cache is a small container within a camouflage bag. Be careful on the path near this cache as this can become muddy at times..

Parking is available at Castle Acre and West Acre.
